No need to worry about your card being declined - we got you covered!
Courtesy Pay is a service in which the credit union will automatically pay an overdrawn transaction for you to save you from the embarrassment, inconvenience and high fees associated with overdrawing their debit/checking account. The service is standard and comes with the debit/checking account. There is a fee involved each time Courtesy Pay is used.

The credit union will pay insufficient items up to the overdraft limit of $100 starting the first day of opening. If members opt-in for debit and ATM transactions, the limit increases to $500 as long as the account has been open for at least 30 days.
If the member has other overdraft protection sources, such as a Personal Line of Credit, those will be utilized first before Courtesy Pay.
Courtesy Pay (opt-out level) automatically covers checks, ACH, and recurring electronic withdrawals. Member must opt-in for ATM and debit card transactions to also be covered by Courtesy Pay.
