    Description

    Ascent Credit Union is looking for a part-time member service representative to identify member needs and recommend credit union product and service solutions that will improve our members’ financial well-being while helping with basic financial transactions.

    How You Will Contribute
    • Build trust with our members by delivering service in alignment with our Service Promises
    • Speak with members and identify opportunities to better their finances
    • Accurately process financial transactions
    • Take deposits, make loan payments, and process withdrawals
    • Answer incoming calls and messages to determine the needs of the caller and verify the caller’s identity
    • Act as an effective source of information for our members in lobby, drive-thru window, or by telephone
    • Provide friendly, professional, confidential and effective assistance to members and credit union staff
    • Assure a positive experience and provide value to the member

    • Research, troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries
    • Take on special projects and new responsibilities as directed by the branch manager

  • Senior Mortgage Loan Processor | Ogden | Full-Time
    Position title
    Senior Mortgage Loan Processor
    Description

    Ascent Credit Union is looking for a Sr. Mortgage processor to help members in the loan process by updating loan status, verifying information, ordering documents needed to complete the files and maintaining information on the computer.

    In addition, this individual maintains good outside working relationships, and promotes the organization’s products and services

    Schedule: 9:00am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday at our Main Branch located at 4140 Harrison Blvd, Ogden, UT 84403. This is an on-site position.

    How You Will Contribute
    • Ensure that each approved application meets the credit union’s lending standards
    • Process mortgage applications according to policy and regulations
    • Communicate loan updates to the member & real estate staff
    • Communicate with attorneys, realtors, appraisers and vendors pertaining to specific client needs
    • Assist with monthly and year reporting requirements for the credit union including pipeline reports, HMDA, and profitability
    • Scanning, retention, organization, and quality control of loan files
    What You Will Bring

    • Demonstrated competency in desktop and mobile devices for communication and work duties
    • Willingness to work from 9.00am to 6.00pm, from Monday through Friday. Must be able to work until 6.00pm daily
    • High school degree or equivalent
    • At least 2 years of mortgage lending experience

    The following will increase your potential for hire:

    • 5+ years of mortgage processor experience
    • Experience processing investment properties
