We’re so excited to announce the update of our Online/Mobile Banking Suite to show the new Ascent CU branding. This update will happen on Thursday, May 28th and does not affect the functionality of online/mobile banking. It simply changes to the new logo and colors. Here is some good information about what to expect that day when you try to access online/mobile banking, depending on what channel you use and the type of mobile device you have.

Please note, your login information is not changing. If you have your credentials saved for login, they will remain saved.

Desktop User:
You will be prompted to re-authenticate your browser upon login. This means you’ll need to receive a new Secure Access Code via the option you choose, enter that code and then register your device.

Mobile Browser User:
You will be prompted to re-authenticate your browser upon login. This means you’ll need to receive a new Secure Access Code via the option you choose, enter that code and then register your device.

Google App User:
You will see an update notification on your existing WSCU Mobile app. After you execute the update, you will see the new Ascent CU app login. You will be prompted to re-authenticate your app upon login. This means you’ll need to receive a new Secure Access Code via the option you choose, enter that code and then register your device. Please note, if you have your existing WSCU Mobile App set to automatically update, that process will happen on it’s own. You won’t need to execute the update manually.

iOS App User:
You will see an update notification on your existing WSCU Mobile app. After you execute the update, you will see the new Ascent CU app login. You will be prompted to re-authenticate your app upon login. This means you’ll need to receive a new Secure Access Code via the option you choose, enter that code and then register your device. Please note, if you have your existing WSCU Mobile App set to automatically update, that process will happen on it’s own. You won’t need to execute the update manually.
iOS can take up to 24 hours to push the new app update live, so you may experience a “loop” where you attempt to update to the new app version before it’s available through the App Store, which then loops you back to your App where it says “Update App.” If this happens, simply wait a little while for the new app version to be published then try again. If you find yourself in this loop, you can always access your account via your mobile browser rather than waiting for the app to update. Your login credentials will be the same.
