Join us for the first annual Ascent Credit Union Foundation 5k & Fun Run on Saturday, September 16th at 9am. For those of you who don’t want to do a full 5k, we’ll also have a 1 mile fun run (or walk) that you can participate in.
The run will be a fundraiser for our Warm the Soles event, which provides new shoes to kindergarten students in 4 local Title 1 elementary schools. We’re asking everyone to wear your craziest socks to show support, and a chance to win a prize for best socks!
We’ll be starting at the Main Branch and running through the WSU campus.
We are asking local businesses to support us in this fundraiser through monetary sponsorships or in-kind donations, incuding products to put in swag bags, breakfast type foods, or an item to raffle off. If you would like to provide in-kind donations, please click the button below.
