Join us for our 67th annual meeting scheduled for April 18, 2024 at the WSU Hurst Center. Doors open at 6:15pm and the meeting starts at 6:45pm. Light refreshments will be served and prizes given away!
In conjunction with the meeting, two Ascent Credit Union Directors will be elected by acclamation. The Nomination Committee has determined the following candidates meet the requirements to serve on the ACU Board of Directors.
Mark Halverson (Incumbent)
Mark has worked for Weber State University for 17 years. He is currently the Interim Vice President of Information Technology. He graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and then continued on to graduate with his MBA, both from Weber State University. He’s been a member of the credit union since 2019, and has served on the Board of Directors since 2021.
Dr. Scott Richards (Incumbent)
Dr. Richards is a retired ophthalmologist and retinal surgeon. In addition to his medical practice, he has served his community in many ways, including his time serving on the Board of Trustees for Ogden Regional Medical Center and providing humanitarian ophthalmology services in Micronesia. He’s published multiple journal articles, presented at ophthalmology conferences, and has contributed to three textbooks. He and his wife Tina currently serve as the directors of the Ogden Family Search Center. Scott has been a member of the credit union since 2014, and has served on the Board of Directors since 2022.
